SEEDS

If you are just starting out or only growing a few trays right now, I recommend you grow the first four" - Sunflower, Dun Pea, Rambo Radish, and Salad Mix. This will give you practice growing 4 really different varieties and you will have a nice mix to offer customers.

I get all of my microgreen seeds from these two suppliers. They are reliable, professional, and both have really good selection of high-quality microgreen seeds. I recommend you shop both, their prices are different and they have different selections to offer.

When you choose seeds, make sure they are labeled as microgreens seeds. Seeds marketed and sold as microgreen seeds are typically tested for higher germination rates and stricter pathogen standards. They are also often cleaner, with almost no crop debris or weed seeds, and are usually untreated, meaning no chemical coatings.

Take the guesswork out of seeding and use our free crop library. Easily and quickly find seeding rates and everything you need to know about planting, growing, and harvesting 15 of the most common microgreens varieties.
