Containers

There are limitless choices when it comes to choosing a container for your harvested microgreens. There are options that are recyclable, compostable, and that are made from a variety of materials. Determine what's right for you and your setup, shop around, and find something that works for you.

The important thing is that they are air tight. Do not use containers with drain holes in them (like strawberry containers, etc.) This will cause your microgreens to wilt in the refrigerator quickly. I use 32 oz containers as my large size, and 16 oz for small. They have a hinged lid and stack well.

The ones I use are not what I necessarily recommend you use. Some people prefer bags or other types of containers - and those will work just fine. I chose these because they are relatively inexpensive, have a hinged lid, and they stack well.
