​The rack is the foundation of your grow setup so buying the right one is important. These come in both black and chrome finish (I use the black ones). The color you get it isn't important, what is important is that it is 48" wide, has 6 tiers and is heavy duty. Your shelves should be 12" - 13" apart and should be level so water doesn't run to one side of your tray.

 

Why is it the best?

These racks hold 20 trays of microgreens and can hold up to 600 lbs per shelf. This is important, a full germination rack holds 100 trays of wet soil and 20 concrete weights. Many of these racks come with casters (wheels) so you can roll them around if you need to.  ​​
